  I've been coming to Turf for quite awhile. The food is always enjoyable, and the service is well above average--but what makes this such a great find is the dessert. Maria (the owner) makes almost all of the desserts herself daily, and they are truly phenomenal. It is quite literally the best cake I have had in my life, and I'm a fella,who enjoys his cake. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it. Enjoy!

  Dinner with friends on a Sunday afternoon. Restaurant was moderately busy, but there were empty tables scattered around so I don't think reservations would have been necessary. We did enjoy having a live classical guitar player in the dining room who was also singing, not the best but it was nice.
  
  The food was average at best. I chose the prime rib special, which was ordered medium. It was completely cooked, no pink only gray. Tender, but not tasty at all. Vegetables were ok, but not seasoned well. Soup was very good. Appetizer tray was good (called Turf platter) with a few bacon wrapped shrimp, stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta.
  
  The service was good - waitress was attentive and allowed us to sit at the table long past the end of our dinner.
  
  Dessert was good.
